Metaphors are as old as Aristotle and as modern as the internet. Presidents use them to persuade (Lincoln: A house divided against itself cannot stand) and start wars (the domino theory for Vietnam). Scientists use them to explain phenomena (the atom as a universe). Poets use them imaginatively (Juliet is the sun). Wall Street uses them to describe investors (bulls, bears). And people in business, like Iacocca, use them as the ultimate persuasion tool.
Metaphors and nouns, complimented with adjectives (expressions) are a timeless storytelling element.
